3 Sound (CVC) Spellings
CVC words - consonant vowel consonant. Some of the first words your child will learn to spell. This box focuses on your child’s knowledge of letter sounds and blending them together to make 3 sound words. Typically taught in Foundation Stage (Primary 1 - 2/ Reception - Year 1).
All children learn at different rates. Although this box is suggested for Foundation Stage, it is not uncommon for older children to be learning at this level.
