With the new school year approaching, homework might already be on your mind. For many parents, it's not necessarily the homework itself that's daunting, it's trying to fit it into an already busy evening.

Homework doesn’t happen in a quiet classroom. It happens when you’re making dinner, sorting washing, helping another child, answering a million questions. And then you hear, “I don’t know how to do this!”

Suddenly, what should be a quick homework task can turn into frustration, tears and a lot of stress for everyone.
